Tangem said on Oct. 13, 2026 that USDC held in Tangem Pay can now be paid out as US dollars to a US bank account. NFA.

The Announcement

Tangem posted the update on X. The post described how balances in Tangem Pay can reach US bank accounts as dollars. This change took effect on the stated date. Holders now see the option inside the app where it is offered.

Supported Blockchains

The payouts cover USDC on three networks. Polygon handles one set of transfers. Base supports another group of transactions. Arbitrum completes the list of chains. A holder selects from these options when preparing a withdrawal.

Who Can Receive Funds

Users direct payouts to different types of accounts. The sender can choose their own bank account. The sender can also name another person as the recipient. A business account stands as a third choice. This range lets holders manage payments without extra steps outside the app.

Transfer Options

Each payout gives a choice between two rails. ACH serves as one method for the transfer. FedWire serves as the other method. The user picks the rail that fits the situation before confirming the details.

Security Confirmation

Every payout requires a hardware step. The user taps the Tangem card to approve the action. This step keeps control with the card holder. The process ties the payment to the physical device already in use.

Step by Step Process

The help center outlines the sequence inside the app. A user opens the Withdraw section. The user then selects the bank transfer choice. Next the user enters the amount along with recipient information. A final review screen appears before the send command.

Bank Requirements

The receiving bank must sit inside the United States. The recipient address can come from any country. This separation keeps the rails focused on US institutions while allowing broad sender locations.

Availability Details

Access depends on the verification country tied to the Tangem Pay account. The option appears only in regions where the feature is active. Users in supported locations find the choice ready in the interface.

Moving Funds Back to Wallet

The help center also notes a route back to the original wallet. Holders can shift USDC or USDT from Tangem Pay into the Tangem Wallet. This movement keeps funds inside the same application environment.

Wallet Separation

Tangem Wallet remains non-custodial at all times. Tangem Pay functions as a distinct payment account inside the shared app. The two parts operate side by side without mixing custody models. Holders therefore manage both the hardware wallet and the payment account from one place.
