Agora said on Oct. 13, 2026 that dollar mints of its AUSD stablecoin are now automatic when a customer wires dollars to a route. NFA.
Route Setup
A customer builds a route one time inside the Agora Platform or through its API. The route records the token name, the chosen chain, and the exact destination wallet. Each route receives its own memo that includes a check character. That character stops a mistyped memo from matching any other route.
Wire Steps
The customer sends dollars from a bank account already listed with Agora and does so in the organization’s own name. The memo goes into the reference field of the wire. When the funds arrive Agora matches the memo to the stored route.
Mint Outcome
Checks run on the matched route. Once cleared the system mints AUSD to the recorded wallet at a one-for-one rate. The same flow now covers whitelabel tokens issued through the Agora Platform.
Safety Checks
Any wire that fails to match a route stays on hold for manual review. No wire receives more than one payout. This design keeps the process contained to verified bank accounts and single-use memos.
Supported Chains
AUSD operates on mainnet deployments that include Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum and Base according to the developer documentation.
Forward Plans
Agora expects the same automated matching to extend to dollar redemptions. A wire status view inside the Platform is also listed among the next items under development.
Holder Experience
A holder who creates one route gains a repeatable path that turns a standard bank wire into AUSD without further manual steps after the first setup. The memo acts as the sole identifier that links the incoming dollars to the correct wallet and token. Every later wire that carries the same memo follows the identical path.
Platform Scope
The automation sits inside the existing Agora tools. Customers already using the Platform for other functions can add the route without leaving the same interface. The API option lets teams embed the route creation step into their own systems if they prefer.
Review Process
Wires that arrive without a matching memo or from an unlisted account move to a separate queue. Staff examine those cases individually. The system records each outcome so that duplicate processing cannot occur.
Summary of Flow
A single route definition, one memo per route, a bank wire sent in the correct name, automated matching, and one-for-one minting to the stated wallet form the complete sequence now running on the platform. The listed chains remain the only mainnet options available for the resulting AUSD.
